The Costume Relic Curator is a special NPC located in Prontera who offers rare costume items for rental. These costumes are obtained through quests that require gathering specific materials and paying zeny. The system features two types of quests: **Initial Quests** for first-time rentals and **Renewal Quests** for extending existing rentals.

#### Quest Types

**Initial Quest**

The initial quest is required for your first rental of each costume. It has:

**Renewal Quest**

#### Costume Effects

All costumes from the Costume Relic Curator provide the following bonuses:

**Important Notes**

* **GvG Maps**: These effects do not apply on Guild vs Guild (GvG) maps
* **Stacking**: All costumes provide the same bonuses
* **PvP**: Effects work in PvP areas (except GvG maps)

#### How to Use

**Step 1: Find the NPC**

Navigate to Prontera and locate the Costume Relic Curator at coordinates (146, 166).

**Step 2: Select a Costume**

Choose which costume you want to rent from the main menu.

**Step 3: Choose Quest Type**

* **Initial Quest**: Select this if you've never rented this costume before
* **Renew Rental**: Select this to extend an existing rental (requires initial quest completion)

**Step 4: Gather Materials**

Collect all required materials and ensure you have enough zeny. The NPC will show you exactly what you're missing if you don't have everything.

**Step 5: Complete the Quest**

Select "I have all items" when you're ready. The NPC will:

* Take the required zeny and items
* Give you the costume as a rental item
* The rental will appear in your inventory with a timer

#### Important Notes

**Rental System**

* **Rental Items**: Costumes are given as rental items, not permanent items
* **Expiration**: Rentals expire after the specified duration (7 days for both initial and renewal)
* **Cannot Stack**: You cannot have multiple rentals of the same costume at once
* **Must Expire**: You must wait for your current rental to expire before obtaining a new one

**Quest Requirements**

* **Initial Quest First**: You must complete the initial quest before you can use renewal quests
* **One Initial Per Costume**: Each costume requires its own initial quest completion
* **Missing Items**: The NPC will show you exactly what items you're missing if requirements aren't met
* **No Poring Coins**: Poring Coins are no longer required for any costume quests

**Item Checking**

The system checks:

* Your inventory for required items
* Your zeny amount
* Whether you already have the costume (inventory or equipped)
* Whether you've completed the initial quest (for renewals)

#### Tips

1. **Plan Ahead**: Initial quests require significant materials and zeny. Plan your farming accordingly.
2. **Renewal Efficiency**: Renewal quests are much cheaper than initial quests. Once you complete the initial quest, renewals are the cost-effective way to maintain your costume.
3. **Material Focus**: Focus on getting the rare items (dolls, ashes, ora ora) as these are required for both initial and renewal quests. These materials are available in MvP Shop only.
4. **Multiple Costumes**: You can have different costumes rented simultaneously, but not multiple of the same costume.
5. **Check Expiration**: Keep track of when your rental expires so you can renew it before it runs out.
6. **Inventory Space**: Make sure you have inventory space before completing the quest, as the costume will be added to your inventory.
